Dr Alba Pereira - MRCGP, MD, MBBS

Dr Alba Pereira is an experienced GP and BMS Accredited Menopause Specialist, providing evidence-based medical care in West London.

She is originally from Brazil, where she was qualified as a doctor, completed training in General Surgery and was developing her career to become a Plastic Surgeon when she decided to move to London to continue her studies.

In the UK, she started working in the surgical department at the Imperial College and then changed her speciality to General Practice.

During her GP training, she worked across several regions and could understand England’s multicultural population with great diversity. However, she has realised the need for more attention towards women’s health.

Dr Pereira has been a Board member of the RCGP-NW London faculty since 2015. She was recognised for her contribution to services by the Faculty in 2020.

Alba is passionate about helping her patients to understand their journeys and empowering them to access successful treatment.

She dedicates herself to improving her patients’ s health and well-being, raising awareness, addressing the stigma and normalising conversations about Menopause.

Dr Pereira is a caring doctor with over 20 years of medical and surgical experience. She is on the GP performer’s list and continues working in the NHS at the Imperial College alongside her private practice.
